Terms & Conditions

This is a generic starting template, not legal advice — have it reviewed before publishing, especially the shipping, returns, and payment sections once online checkout is live.

Our Product Guarantee

Colville Compost tries hard to make a high quality, highly fungal inoculating product. We send many samples each year to a laboratory for testing, and the lab reports show every batch, or bin, is different. We will not sell any product that is deficient in quality. The main factors in producing high quality are time, moisture, and temperature — our chopped-leaf compost sits for at least 12 months before testing, and that lab report tells us when the product is ready for farm application.

We do guarantee a highly fungal product. We do not guarantee results. Results are up to the farmer and depend on how the product is handled, the weather, and the timing of application. Colville Compost is not a soil-additive magic bullet — it needs to be used alongside minimal- or no-till farming, year-round cover crops, and minimal or no toxic fertilizer or pesticide use.

When properly used, Colville Compost will help farmers save money on fertilizer and help build the soil biology needed to build soil organic matter.

Orders & Payment

By placing an order through this site, you agree to pay the listed price for the product(s) selected, plus any shipping noted at checkout. Payment is processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your card details.

Shipping

Most orders ship within one business day of purchase via USPS or FedEx. Because Colville Compost is a living product, it should be opened and allowed air promptly upon arrival — see How To Use for storage guidance.

Returns

Because this is a perishable, living biological product, we are unable to accept returns once an order has shipped. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
